Television always makes notable impact on fashion, no doubt but Euphoria has managed to be one of the most influential shows in recent times.

The controversial TV show covers mental health, addiction, and friendship, and certainly draws on fashion to create characters’ personalities and aesthetics, as well as adding a unique quality to each character. Euphoria’s costume design serves as an extension of each character's pattern emotionally and psychological Clothing is so important to self expression and story telling and to be honest it was everyone's favorite part of the show
“Euphoria Intertwines the late 1960's fashion with modern trends to give a dream like aesthetic ”
Style evolution through the seasons
The first season had a lot of glitter and colorful pieces along side really daring cut out details showing a more playful and child like side of most of the characters.
These cut out details and extra short glamourous pieces went on to become popular trends among the Gen Z because it was relatable and extra, at the same time.
The second season came out earlier this year and we could see the development of each character through their clothes, make up and hair. Every detail put in place, led to the deep emotional connection the audience with their favorite characters. Even Jules as a character’s color palettes have changed from a hyper-feminine, pastel color palette to a darker color scheme in an effort to reflect a more mature vibe. Which heavily influenced a more individualistic approach to fashion where we now see more young people expressing themselves with clothes and make up on a more personal level.
